What do F1 Drivers do for there own enjoyment on the off season? A pastime which can
damage their wrist? No, not that...they go rallying that's what! These adrenalin junkies

scorcher magazine are going to check it out during 2011.
we're starting where those not fortunate enough to be millionairs do at the grass roots of
this exciting motorsport. first off is the Ripponian Rally based in Thirsk North Yorkshire and
run by the Ripon Motorsport Club following the rallies as a fledgling driver would progress
through their career climaxing at the two premium world series the Intercontinental and World Rally Championships
First off the Riponian rally. To say it's grass roots is not entirely true there shall be
WRC cars running in the rally which were world championship class only a few years ago
such is the competitiveness of these local events. These recently outlawed machines shall
certainly attract many spectators such is there exciting style. check out the key source of
information for rally spectators, the local club web sites

Come back for a full report on the riponian rally after the event and keep an eye on
scorcher magazine for a guide on how to get started in the sport that so many F1 drivers
